Free Fall Lacrosse Clinic

The BLC Lacrosse Club is happy to announce our free fall lacrosse clinic on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings, open to all boys and girls players new to the game and also for our experienced players interested in learning and developing their skills for the Spring season.  Sessions are open to players grades K-8 and players will be broken up by age, gender, and skill level.

Practices will be from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Cadigan Field on Wednesday nights, starting 10/1, and Saturday mornings at the Corn Field from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, starting 9/27 (Boys: 9-11; Girls: 10-12).

We are planning on having a used gear collection the first week of clinics so parents and players can bring their old gear to get rid of and also swap for any gear they can use.
For new players we are starting a Rent to Buy Gear Program. For $50 (plus deposit) you can rent new gear for the clinic period with the option to buy it upon registering for Spring Lacrosse.
Email Stacy with any questions on the rental program:

A great lax article...
The following appeared in the March 18th issue of The New Yorker and I must say it is really good. If you know nothing about the sport your son or daughter is playing you will find it very informative (unfortunately for you fans of the girls game it is mostly on the boys game) and for those that know the sport well you will be equally informed and entertained. I strongly encourage you to print it out and give it a read and then pass it on to your son or daughter for them to read. It is probably the best "general" article I have seen on the sport that covers some history, the specifics, the strategy, the similarities to other sports and where the sport is going (world wide).
